For MS SQL datasources, the app will require a hostname, port, username, password, and optionally, the DB name. The app can also work directly with connection strings as described here.

We typically advise that you create a new, separate account specifically for the Data X-Ray on your MS SQL Server that has read-only (SELECT only) access to the whole or parts of the database that you would like scanned.

Please ensure that any firewall or NAT that is running on the network will allow the Data X-Ray to connect on the necessary port. The default for MS SQL is 1433.
